The iPhone app – Geo Poems – brings together most of the poetry from Victor Keegan’s first three books – Crossing the Why, Big Bang and Remember to Forget – geo-positioned on a map to the places that inspired them or where they were written. This reflects the fact that poems have much more in common with their places of origin than the poems that would normally sit next to them in a book. It uses new technology, in the form of satellite positioning, to bring poetry back to its beginnings when it was about place. The books are also available on Kindle through the Amazon book store.
